この度、ル・コルビジェ没後50周年記念シリーズのひとつとしてパリ郊外にあるル・コルビジェのサヴォア邸の空間全体を会場として、「フォールディング・コスモス・ヴィラ サヴォア」を開催いたします。日本人としては同会場で初の展覧会となります。

この企画のテーマである探検家 松浦武四郎 (1818 – 1888 ) が作り上げた最小空間の書斎「一畳敷」との共通点が多いル・コルビジェの「カップマルタンの休暇小屋」のレプリカが、ポンビドゥー・センターのル・コルビジェ展で展示される会期に合わせての同時開催となります。世界を巡回したフォールディング・コスモスのセットは小書斎に、３名の日本人アーティストによる空間に合わせた新作は、サヴォア邸全体の様々な場所でご覧いただけます。みなさまのご来場を心よりお待ち申し上げます。

We are pleased to announce the exhibition * folding cosmos VILLA SAVOYE as the one of the 50th anniversary on the death of Le Corbusier's exhibition series, and his cabin in Roquebrune, which has many things in common with the our main theme of One-Mat-Room, the smallest study room created by a explorer : Takeshiro Matsuura (1818 – 1888) , will be exhibited at Pompidou Center at the same time.

You will find the folding cosmos set in the small library and new art works of Japanese Artists, Ai Kitahara and Kineta Kunimatsu and Rie Kawakami, from the ground floor to the roof garden in Villa Savoye.
